The Lab will take place on 2 October 2019 at the Vida! Centre Brno. The event will begin at 5 pm, and participants are expected to come earlier – due to practical and organizational reasons. The exact time will be specified later. 

Please confirm your participation by 30 July and make sure to include the final title of your presentation:

BREAKING THE WALL OF {complete your title in 2-3 words}

We also kindly ask you to send us a short BIO (+/- 150 words), together with your photo by 30 July. This materials will be published at the webpage and can be used for the propagation purposes of the event. There is also a Facebook Page.

Since the title of your presentation will be linked to the production of organisational materials, note that last-minute changes will not be accepted.

Please also find the PowerPoint template for your presentation attached to this email. We kindly ask you to send us your finalised PowerPoint presentation by 15 September 2019.

If, for any reason, you are not able to attend the Lab, please inform us immediately to allow another applicant to take your place.

As the Falling Walls Lab presentation will be made for a broad audience, this challenge should be met with your ability to convince the jury of the wide impact of your idea. Thus, if your solution is highly technical, you should also be able to convey why this is important for society. Conversely, many applicants have framed the impact of their ideas in a broad manner, while here, the key will be to convey why your solution is unique and ground-breaking.
